Eglantine wild roses



pink wildflowers common names: sweet briar, sweet brier, eglantine
native to: Europe and western Asia
uses: in Europe - tea made from the hips of this rose to get dose of vitamina C
         in Tunisia natural flower water is produced by its flowers.
         in Chile , Spain and Argentina known as -Rosa Mosqueta-  is cultivated to produce marmalades and cosmetic products.

Rosa rubiginosa is an invasive species in southeast Australia, restrected plant in New Zealand, banned from sale and distribution in the Auckland and Canterbury. It is listed as Category 1 Declared Weed in south Africa. These plants may no longer be planted and all trades in their seeds may be prohibided.
